PROCEDURE FOR RUNNING A MEET

  

The following is the procedure for any Club or Sub-Committee (Eastland Swim, Swim Hawke's Bay) in the HBPB Region to run an official meet (including a club night).

 

  1. Club, or Sub Committee to make an application to HBPB Swimming to run a meet, with the intended date. 

  2. HBPB Swimming approves the date of the swim meet.

  3. Meet flyer to be approved by HBPB Swimming to ensure that meet conditions are correct in order for the meet to be official.

  4. Club, or Sub Committee circulates Flyer and TM Events File to clubs and the Regional Administrator.

  5. Organising committee ensures that the appropriate number of qualified Technical Officials are on pool deck, as per the SNZ Meet Approval document, if the meet is to be official.

  6. At the conclusion of the meet the following documents are to be sent to the HBPB Administrator:

    • PDF Results

    • TM Results

    • Meet Manager Back Up file

    • Meet Approval Document

  7. Club or Sub-Committee is able to uplad results and documents.
  8. HBPB Regional Administrator may also send all relevant documents and files to SNZ for uploading to the SNZ Database.(if required).
